ANOREXY AND BULIMY

Hello, today I want to talk about Anorexy and bulimy, because, in my opinion, it is a really interesting topic.

Anorexy: People suffering from anorexy, don’t want to mantein their normal weight because they are affraid of being fat and becoming obese.
They are always worried about their body, sometimes they submit themselves to very restricted diets which modify their character and behaviour.
The symptoms of this deasy are:
they don’t want to keep they weight.
They start eating less and less.
They can’t concentrate in their work.
If they are girls, sometimes they lose their menstruation.
People feel cold, less the hair...

It’s really typical to think that only the girls can’t have this type of illnes, but this is not true, nowadays there are some boys who also are really worried about their body.

Bulimy: People who suffering this illness eat excesively and after they vomitate or use laxatives and diuretics.

The symptoms of bulimy are:
eating without control.
Feelling that it’s impossible to stop eating.
Fasting to compensate for previous over eating.
Inducing vomits that are denied.
Abusing of laxatives and diuretics.
Problems with teeth.
Changes of humor and depressions.

There are some treatments for those dangerous illness:

the best treatment is a group therapy.
It’s really important to talkt about the problem, they muste reconize that they aren’t fine.
The more important is adquiring the right eatingattitude.

Sometimes people thing that this disseas aren’t so dangerous, but this is really false, because in extreme cases the boy or gilr who suffers it, can die.

Cholesterol!

Today as I said yesterday I am going to talk about the cholesterol:
Cholesterol is a lipid found in the cell membranes of all tissues, and it is transported in the blood of all animals.
Most of the cholesterol in the body is synthesized by the body and some has dietary origin.
Cholesterol is insoluble in blood, but is transported in the circulatory system to differents lipoproteins:
(LDL) low-density lipoprotein
(HDL)
high-density lipoprotein
They carry cholesterol from and to the liver, respectively.
In some occasion the cholesterol gets hooked up in the walls of the veins, and obstructs them, the blood cannot circulate and produce different diseases of heart.
On the one hand the lipoprotein, HDL, is termed “bad cholesterol” because contributes in this process, on the other hand, LDL is termed “good cholesterol” because offer a degree of protection.
Abnormally high cholesterol levels (
hypercholesterolemia) and abnormal proportions of LDL and HDL are associated with cardiovascular disease.
This problem can be resolved with exercise, a healthy diet, and sometimes medication.
So, you know, it’s really important take care of yourself.
