Homage to Gemma.

Today I want to talk about a really good friend of mine, who has a rather funny but a little bit weird hobby, taking photos.

Her name is Gemma, she is as old as me and all her life she has been interested in art.

When she was little she started to attract attention with her paintings. Later, we were really amazed by the decoration of her bedroom, which was quite freaky. When she grew older, she turned to photography, and fortunatly we are her models. We are: Anna, Marina and me.

Some days a year Gemmas organizes a photo shooting in different locations but the landscape she loves most is the forest and the beach, so the last session took place exactly there. First we started in a forest near Castelló and later we moved to the beach in Empuriabrava.

We all met at nine o'clock and we finished five hours and seven hundred pictures later, at two o'clock.

It was fantastic because she gave us a lot of stylish clothes which she wanted to take pictures of.

We had to do a lot of different movements and take up a lot of different positions, I have to say that at the end of the day I was really tired from smiling, moving, smiling, moving...

Our make-up was really special too, with a lot of colors to bring out our personality.

I have mentioned seven hundred pictures, but after a carefull selection she only accepted the best two hundred.

We are very much impressed by the pictures ourselves, but I have noticed that there are some people who think that this is a crazy and stupid thing to do, who are prejudiced and don't see the art behind the photos.
