This weeck I was ill so I had a lot of free time and I could read a really good spanish book, “Las chicas de alambre” written by Jordi Sierra and Fabra
Know I will explain to you the argument of the book .
One journalist, Joan Boix, works in a really important magazine from Barcelona, “Zonas interiores”, they send to him to do an article about three models really importants ten years ago.
They were really populars by their extrem thinness, and because they were so pretty, but their beautiful moment died at the same time than died two of them because anorexy, the last one, Vania, desapeared.
Joan, started his work with a lot of enfasy, like all that he does; he looked for a lot of people who were relacionated with the girls, he called their families... but nobody knew nothing about his more important objective, Vania.
One day, when the lucky was with him, he met one woman who looked after Vania when she was a child.
This woman, Samantha, said to him that Vania was dead but he didn’t believe her and he continued his work since one day when he found her in a house. She explained to him that she was hide a lot of time because she didn’t want to return to fashion world wich try to kill her.
After spend some days with the fashion model, he returns to Barceola, his city, and writes the famous article.
The writter doesn’t reveal us the end of the novel.
She doesn’t say if Joan writes the truth about Vania or if he kept silence.
We have to imagine.
